Observing that there is steady progress in Indo-Pak relations, Indian External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh on Saturday said India is committed to moving ahead with the composite dialogue. He stated this while delivering his inaugural address at the two-day Regional conference of the South Asia Free Media Association (Safma) on 'Inter-State Conflicts in South Asia.'
The Safma regional conference is being attended by journalists from both print and electronic-media and other participants from the Saarc-member states.
"On India-Pak relations, we are making steady progress. India is committed to moving ahead with the composite dialogue. Today, the climate that characterises India-Pak relations is significantly different as compared to 2002.
The two sides have been able to identity the areas of convergence and future co-operation", said Natwar.
