Women urged to increase business activities

Adviser to Prime Minister on Women Development, Nelofar Bakhtiar, has urged the women to increase their social and business activities for improving their status in the society.
In her address to the team of Pakistan Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PWCCI), she said that she was pleased to know that women were showing increasing interest in their development affairs programmes.
She said that in this regard, the PWCCI president, Salma Ahmed, had informed her about the performance of the Chamber and relating difficulties facing by PWCCI.
The Adviser promised to extend co-operation in the future in the interest of the women.
She also congratulated the First Women Bank president, Zarine Aziz, on winning the Women of the Year Award. Zarine pointed out the main problems, specially micro-credit affairs in the system and asked the advisor to help in solving.
Nilofar also held a meeting at PML house with the PML workers and discussed next strategy.
