Body of Maulana Taunsvi reaches Multan

Body of Maulana Nazir Ahmed Taunsvi, a leader of Majlis-i-Tahafuz Khatm-i-Nabuwat reached at Multan by air for burial on Sunday morning.
He was assassinated in Karachi on Saturday afternoon when he was coming back to home along with Mufti Jamil Ahmed. His body was received here by a large number of activists of Majlis Khatm-i-Nabuwat and his relative. Heavy police contingent was deployed at airport to avert any mishap. His body was taken to village Rustamani (Taunsa Sharif) some 80 miles west of Multan.
People of the area, relatives and his pupils staged a demonstration in Taunsa as a protest against the growing incidents of terrorism, killing of Maulana Nazir Ahmed Taunsvi and death of three persons of Taunsa in Multan bomb blast incident on Thursday.
All shops and bazaars of Taunsa Sharif remained closed to mourn the death of Maulana Nazir Ahmed Taunsvi and three others.
Another activist of Millat-i-Islamia Pakistan, Aurangzeb who sustained serious injuries in bomb blast is still in coma in Nishtar Hospital Multan and he is in critical condition.
