Provincial Minister for Auqaf and Religious Affairs, Sahibzada Saeed-ul-Hassan Shah said that a Muslim cannot be a terrorist and a terrorist cannot be a Muslim, a handful miscreants were creating a state of terror through subversive and terrorist activities and they were playing with the lives of innocent people.
Addressing a press conference after visiting Nishtar Hospital and presenting bouquets to the injured persons on the behalf of Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on Sunday.
"We would foil the nefarious designs of terrorists and we are taking some solid and effective measures to combat terrorism in the country, even we are launching a crusade against terrorism at international level," Sahibzada Saeed-ul-Hassan said.
He told that Punjab Chief Minister has convened a meeting of Ulema and religious scholars of all schools of thought to discuss the Sialkot and Multan incidents and to take effective measures in future so that such incidents could not be recurred.
The minister said that investigation was going on and action would be taken in the light of inquire report and facts would be brought to the public and nothing would be concealed like past, he assured.
