Three persons, including two students, were killed, while 39 others injured in a head-on collision between a school van and a truck near Batgram, police said.
The school van (BM 63) was heading to Batgram from Deshan and was carrying 41 students of Iqra School. The van collided with a truck (ST 7964) coming from the opposite direction near the Japan bridge.
Two students identified as Ameer Hamza s/o Haider Zaman, Sabeela Bibi d/o Gulzameen, and driver Aziz-ur-Rehman died on the spot. While four students were shifted to Abbottabad in a critical condition and 32 others were admitted to a Batgram hospital.
