13 Oct, 2004

US coffee futures extended losses for the second consecutive session, with funds selling on ebbing concerns about tree flowering for next year's crop in top grower Brazil, traders said on Tuesday.
On the New York Board of Trade, the most-active December coffee contract fell 1.35 cent to settle at 74.50 cents a lb, the bottom of a 74.50 to 76.55 cents trading range.
March 2005 lost 1.25 cent to 79 cents, while longer-dated contracts declined 1.10 to 1.30 cent.
