Collection of artifacts in Lahore Museum represents all major civilisations of the world, and the Punjab government deserves appreciation for effectively preserving and displaying the historical treasure of different nations and religions.
Republic of Mauritius Prime Minister Paul Raymond Berenger stated this during his visit to Lahore Museum on Wednesday.
He said the attention being paid to the care and upkeep of the historical and cultural heritage of different nations also reflects the enlightened and moderate attitude of the government and the people of Pakistan.
Earlier, Punjab Information, Culture and Youth Affairs Secretary Taimur Azmat Osman and Director Lahore Museum Syed Gulzar Mashhadi warmly welcomed the Mauritius premier on his arrival at Lahore Museum and presented him a bouquet. Minister of State for Information Technology Amjad Malhi and Honorary Consul of Mauritius Shahid Sethi were also present on the occasion.
