Pakistan and Chinese businessmen agree on trade fairs

The business leaders of Rawalpindi and Kashgar have agreed to hold exhibitions of their industrial products in two cities in order to help increase the already better trade and economic co-operation of China and Pakistan.
The leaders of two sides were reached on an agreement in a meeting held here on Wednesday at Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI). Rawalpindi traders were represented by senior vice president of the Chamber Jalil Ahmed Malik while the Chinese delegation was led by Yang Guy Xin.
Chinese delegation during the meeting has expressed their desire to hold an industrial exhibition in Rawalpindi in order to exhibit their industrial products in Pakistan.
"Rawalpindi is the closest and sister city of Kashgar so that it is better that the trade links of the two cities would be enhanced for better economic interest of the two countries", Yang Guy Xin said.
The traders of Kashgar, he said would hold an exhibition in end of November, which would help Chinese industrialists to enter in the Pakistani market.
"The preparations for the exhibition are in final stage and we need co-operation of RCCI in making this event a success", Chinese business leader said.
He invited the members of RCCI to hold an industrial exhibition in Kashgar in June next year to promote their products in Chinese market.
"We will provide all possible help, support and co-operation to our brothers in holding exhibition in Kashgar and provide you free space", he announced and said that holding industrial exhibition would help in enhancing the trade and economic co-operation of China and Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, senior vice president RCCI Jalil Ahmed Malik assured the Chinese delegation of complete support in holding industrial exhibition in Rawalpindi. "We will provide you all possible help, assistance and space for the exhibition," he assured the Chinese delegation.
Being sister cities Rawalpindi and Kashgar have a close links and it is in best interest of the people of two sides to enhance these ties, Jalil Malik said adding Rawalpindi is a gateway to China, Afghanistan and Central Asia, so that the traders of this city have responsibility to enhance trade links with these regions.
Accepting the invitation of holding exhibition in Kashgar in June next year, Jalil Malik said that the traders of Rawalpindi will use full potential to exhibit their products in China.
