The Accountant General Punjab, Wazir Ahmad Qureshi, has promoted six senior auditors to the rank of Assistant Accounts Officer with immediate effect, including two females.
The officers, who got promotion include: Shaista Naheed Khan, Syeda Huma Bokhari, Muhammad Rafiq Shahid, Sohail Zafar, Hammad Raza Siddiqui, and Muhammad Afzal Ilyas.
Shaista Naheed Khan and Syeda Huma Bokhari have been made in charge of the GP Fund Section, IV and Pension Audit & Despatch Section, respectively. Similarly, Sohail Zafar has been given charge of Computer Co-ordination Section, while three other officers have been assigned responsibility in their respective districts.
MEANWHILE, THE FOLLOWING 23 JUNIOR AND SENIOR AUDITORS HAVE PASSED FIRST EXAMINATION OF SAS: Ghulam Murtaza, Imran Ahmad, Mirza Sadaqat Ali, Zareen Zafar, Muhammad Abdul Rehman, Muhammad Imran, Rafaqat Ali, Roni Haroon, Suleman Zafar, Abdul Aziz, Abdul Khalil, Ahmad Javed, Chaudhry Rizwan Hussain, Khurram Shahzad, Maqbool Ahmad, Muhammad Adnan Azeem, Muhammad Akram, Muhammad Rizwan, Muhammad Shahbaz, Wajid Raza Wajid, Umar Hayat Abbasi, Muhammad Abdul Razaq and Asif Iqbal.
The Accountant General has congratulated the successful officials and said the AG office from its own resources conducted SAS classes for the first time, which produced encouraging results. He also announced holding of classes of next examination of SAS in the AG office.
