The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee here on Friday announced Ramazan moon has been sighted and the first of Ramazan will fall on Saturday (October 16).
The announcement about sighting of moon was made by Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Munibur Rehman over television and radio after receiving a number of evidences from various parts of the country about sighting of the moon.
NWFP Religious Affairs Minister Maulana Amanullah Haqqani was also present on the occasion.
