At a meeting in his office on Friday to review the sewerage disposal arrangement during Ramazan the MD said that all pumping stations should be operative and all sewerage should be disposed of efficiently.
Among others, deputy managing director Mechanical Services Israr Zaidi, chief engineer Sewerage Fareed Soomro, and chief engineer Sewerage Pumping Gulzar Memon attended the meeting.
The MD said that the overflow of sewerage should be controlled at all levels. He said that special gangs of health and sanitary workers should be deputed to attend to each complaint received from any town on immediate basis.
To maintain vigilance, the complaint centres should remain open till 11 pm and all telephone lines should be in proper working order to facilitate complainants.
