Former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali said that the National Assembly Speaker and the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs should adopt policy of consultation.
He was speaking in the National Assembly here on Friday on a privilege motion raised by Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sher Afgan Niazi on opposition's stance to boycott the legislative business in front of Speaker's dies.
Earlier, Sher Afgan Niazi remarked the "opposition leaders leave no opportunity to mob the Speaker's dies".
He asserted: "Such aggressive and undemocratic practice must not be adopted by the opposition members."
The minister stated that opposition leaders do not follow proper rules and regulations to raise their voice in the House for the welfare of masses in their constituencies.
Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali emphasised that the ruling party must not prolong their point of orders.
Kashmala Tariq criticised the privilege motion raised against her by a member of the ruling party when she was not present in the House.
"No statement regarding selection of federal ministers was given by me", she remarked.
