Croatia scraps third GSM mobile tender

Croatia's state telecom regulator dismissed on Monday the only bid for the third national mobile telecoms operator licence, from a group led by Sweden's Tele2 and said it would call a new tender soon.
"We assessed the bid by Tele2 to be of insufficient quality and we shall call a new public tender as soon as possible, by the end of October," said Gasper Gacina, head of the state telecommunications agency.
