Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 67,043 tonnes of cargo including 57,693 tonnes import and 9,350 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 33,924 tonnes dry and 33,119 tonnes liquid cargo.
Six ships namely Bunga Delima, Kota Tegap, Corinthiakos, Lio Leader, Al Maqwa, and Emblem sailed out to sea during the report period.
Six vessels viz Dong He, Lio Leader, Desert Hawk, Georgia T, Wilmington and Alpha Power are currently at the berths.
Three ships namely Wilmington, Dong He and Alpha Power expected to sail on Tuesday, while MV Prex expected to sail on Wednesday.
Two ships namely Lauren and Apl Ivory due to arrive on Tuesday, while ten vessels viz Chemroad Echo, Sita Camilla, Sinar Bontang, Oranje, YM Star, Hyundai Future, Maria C, Far Land, Pacific Career and Gao He are due to arrive on Wednesday.

The cargo comprised of 13,004 tonnes edible oil; 13,125 tonnes wheat and 34,595 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two vessels viz Bu Ju and Eburna expected to sail on Tuesday.
MT Anette Kosan is currently at the outer anchorage and due to take berth on Tuesday.
MV Star Gridanger due to arrive on Tuesday, while two more ships namely P&O Nedlloyd Cobra and Oranje are due to arrive on Wednesday.
