The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock and the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations have approved a Technical Co-operation Programme (TCP) funded project of $378,000 as grant-in-aid on "Preparation and Capacity Building in Support of the Water Sector Improvement Programme in Sindh province."
The document was signed by Minister for Food, Agriculture and Livestock, Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan and Dr Ronny Adhikarya, FAO Representative in Pakistan, says a press release issued here on Tuesday.
The primary objective of the project is to assist the Government of Sindh to prepare an investment project proposal for a water sector improvement project suitable for donor support.
