Ukraine cuts palm oil imports

Ukraine cut imports of palm oil to 5,800 tonnes in August 2004 from 11,000 tonnes in July, analysts said on Thursday.
Ukraine imported 3,382 tonnes in June and 6,400 tonnes in May. Analysts from ProAgro agricultural consulatancies said in a statement the country imported a total of 95,400 tonnes of palm oil in the first 10 months of the 2003/04 October-September season.
