Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 115,778 tonnes of cargo including 101,125 tonnes import and 14,653 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 70,324 tonnes dry and 45,454 tonnes liquid cargo.
Six ships namely Star Grindanger, Chem Star Echo, Wilmington, Oranje, Lauren and Apl Ivory sailed out to sea during the report period.
Seven vessels viz Hyundai Future, YM Star, Mariac, Al Rabab, Lauren, Marvic and Chemroad Echo are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Bolan, Kota Waruna, Kota Mesra and Apl Orchid expected to sail on Thursday, while four ships namely YM Star, MT Shalamar, Marvic and Nanking are expected to sail on Friday.
Five ships namely Militos, Apl Orchid, Iran Kordestan and Thor Captain due to arrive on Thursday, while five vessels viz Adhidaya, Shamrock Moon, Dafa, Wan Hai-263 and Pacific Career are due to arrive on Friday.

The cargo comprised of 4,609 tonnes wheat and 13,700 tonnes containerised cargo.
MV Spar Sirius sailed out to sea on Thursday morning, while another ship CV Oranje is expected to sail on the same day.
A total of three vessels viz P&O Nedlloyd Cobra, Lauren and Al Mirqab are currently at the outer anchorage.
Four ships namely P&O Nedlloyd Cobra, Lauren, Atlantica and Al Mirqab due to take berths on Thursday.
Four vessels viz Min Noble, Yanaseni, Militos and Pacific Sound due to arrive on Thursday.
