Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 109,778 tonnes of cargo including 96,528 tonnes import and 13,277 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday.
The cargo comprised of 64,275 tonnes dry and 45,530 tonnes liquid cargo.
Seven ships namely Global Progress, Hyundai Future, Bolan, Kota Mesra, Kota Waruna, YM Star and Apl Orchid sailed out to sea during the report period.
Six vessels viz Nur Yanbu, Iran Kordestan, Thor Captain, Kota Waruna, Kota Mesra and Apl Orchid are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Marivic and MT Shalamar expected to sail on Friday, while four ships namely Dafa, Sinar Bontang, Georgia T and Nanking are expected to sail on Saturday.
Six ships namely Militos, Farland, Gao, Arran Trader, Adhidaya and Pacific Career due to arrive on Friday, while two vessels viz Dafa and Wan Hai-263 are due to arrive on Saturday.

The cargo comprised of 1,502 tonnes chemicals; 10,233 tonnes wheat and 24,446 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three vessels viz P&O Nedlloyd Cobra, Lauren and Oranje sailed out to sea during the report period, while another ship CV Al Mirqab is expected to sail on Friday.
MT Yanaseni is currently at the outer anchorage and due to take berth on Friday.
MT Pacific Sound is due to arrive on Friday.
