26 Oct, 2004

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz will meet his Indian counterpart for the first time during the visit to India in November, officials said on Monday.
The talks between Shaukat Aziz and Manmohan Singh are likely to move forward the continuing peace process between the nuclear-armed neighbours.
Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesman Masood Khan said that Shaukat Aziz planned to visit India and other member nations of the South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (Saarc).
He said the trips would begin in November, but that exact dates were not yet known. Pakistan currently holds chairmanship of the regional organisation, Saarc.
