Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim along with Krishan Chand Parwani called on Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Tuesday at the Prime Minister House.
The Sindh Chief Minister discussed ongoing development projects in Thar and party affairs in Sindh.
They also discussed water problem and repair of canals and barrages in the province.
A comprehensive development projects for Karachi also came under discussion.
The Prime Minister the present government is committed for the welfare and well-being of minorities.
He said the government is committed to develop backward areas and to bring these at par with the developed areas of the country.
Earlier, Minister for Narcotics Control Ghaus Bux Mahar met with the Prime Minister and informed him about Paris Pact meeting proceedings on narcotics controls.
He also discussed political situation and matters pertaining to his department. He apprised the Prime Minister about the progress of development projects in his constituency and submitted proposals for initiating new development projects.
