Bears tighten grip on ISE

Bears continued to stay in the driving seat on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed negative signs amid the decrease in the ISE index. The ISE network index was down by 95.43 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,581.87 to 11,486.44 points, whereas the overall turnover amounted to 3,974,600 shares as compared to previous volume of 3,062,400 shares.
Total 115 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (87) landed in minus column, 27 showed plus signs, while one company remained pegged to its overnight level.
The volume of OGDCL was 1,767,900 shares as compared to previous turnover of 2,263,600 shares. The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser was 1,545,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 491,000 shares. The volume of PTCL was 444,000 shares.
