Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 92,243 tonnes of cargo including 71,934 tonnes import and 20,309 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday.
The cargo comprised of 52,888 tonnes dry and 39,355 tonnes liquid cargo.
Two ships namely Shamrock Moon and Thor Captain sailed out to sea during the report period.
Seven vessels viz Bunga Bidara, Rudolf Schulte, Min He, Jiao Cheng, Kota Teraju, Goa and MMM Galveston are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely MMM Galveston and Min He expected to sail on Tuesday, while three ships namely Rudolf Schulte, Oranje and Kota Teraju are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Five ships namely NCC Yamamah, Oranje, Apl Shanghai, Apl Tulip and Le Li due to arrive on Tuesday, while Seven vessels viz Militos, YM Moon, Hyundai Stride, Kota Wangsa, Panama Express, Mritime Vlour and Banglar Kakoli are due to arrive on Wednesday.

The cargo comprised of 27,509 tonnes diesel oil; 9,708 tonnes wheat; 10,974 tonnes iron ore and 32,912 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two vessels viz Saudi Abha and Maersk Arizona expected to sail on Tuesday.
Two vessels viz E. Trader and Rubi-III due to arrive on Tuesday, while three more ships namely MSC Rosa, Alaska and Ben Aicha are due to arrive on Wednesday.
