Equities witnessed broad-based erosion at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bears continued to stay in the front seat amid he decrease in the ISE index. The ISE network index showed a decrease of 48.90 points as the price-based indicator moved from 11,486.44 to 11,437.54 points, while the overall turnover was lower to 3,330,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 3,974,600 shares.
Out of 87 companies traded, 26 closed in positive territory, 59 showed negative signs while two companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The volume of OGDCL was 2,010,100 shares as compared to previous turnover of 1,767,900 shares. The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser was 840,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,545,500 shares.
The volume of PTCL was 334,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 444,000 shares.
