Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 95,672 tonnes of cargo including 69,496 tonnes import and 26,176 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 45,005 tonnes dry and 50,667 tonnes liquid cargo.
Five ships namely Iran Shahryar, Chembulk Fortitude, Maria C, Corinthiakos and Desert Hawk sailed out to sea during the report period.
Four vessels viz Iran Shahryar, Chembulk Fortitude, Wan Hai-261 and Maritime Valour are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Iran Shahryar and Chembulk Fortitude expected to sail on Saturday, while three ships namely Maria C, Corinthiakos and Desert Hawk are expected to sail on Sunday.
Two ships namely Sport Queen and Star Florida due to arrive on Saturday, while five vessels viz Ilse Wulf, Gao He, Allpine, Hero-1 and Emerald Sea are due to arrive on Sunday.
Two ships namely MT Johar and Bow West are due to arrive on Monday.

A total cargo volume of 87,157 tonnes including 72,248 tonnes import and 14,909 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 5,044 tonnes chemicals; 36,138 tonnes furnace oil; 5,240 tonnes rape seeds; 177 tonnes general cargo; 14,072 tonnes iron ore and 26,486 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three vessels viz Annette Kosan, Amasis and MSC Rosa-M sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while another ship CV AL Manakh is expected to sail on Saturday afternoon.
A total of three vessels viz Sita Kathrine, MSC Socotra and Denderah Rickmers are currently at the outer anchorage.
Two ships namely MSC Socotra and Denderah Rickmers due to take berths on Saturday.
