An Indian businessmen's delegation, led by the Punjab-Haryana-Delhi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) President, will fly into Islamabad on November 3 to meet their counterparts and officials in the capital.
The delegation will stay for two days and exchange views with the businessmen and high officials on the opportunities, which exist for promoting the trade between Pakistan and India.
Pak-Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PICCI) President Senator Ilyas Bilour will play host to the delegation during its stay in the country.
Talking to newsmen, he said that exchange of visits between the businessmen and entrepreneurs of the two neighbourly countries would pave way for better understanding of each other's point of view and help in the current peace process.
Bilour said the PICCI would encourage all such visits and might plan a return visit to India in not too distant a future.
He said he was trying to arrange meetings of the PHDCCI delegation members with the Commerce and Finance Ministers and other high officials for a free and frank discussion on the trade and commercial issues that confront both the countries and removal of possible irritants to encourage friendly relations between the business communities of Pakistan and India.
