KESC has finalised arrangements for ensuring uninterrupted power supply on the occasion of Youm-e-Ali and Lailatul Qadar.
The arrangements were reviewed at a meeting of City Co-ordination Committee held under the chairmanship of Incharge Distribution Jamil Gul Shaikh here on Monday.
Committee's Senior Member Moulana Muhammad Hanif, Chief Engineers Shabbir Solangi, M Shabbir, Anis Qureshi and other senior engineers also attended the meeting. It was decided the standby worker's gangs will remain available at all complaint centres, important mosques and imambargahs to maintain uninterrupted power supply on Youm-e-Ali (21st Ramazan) and Lailatul Qadar (27th Ramazan).
Jamil Gul Shaikh assured all necessary measures had been taken to meet any emergency situation while standby vehicles and staff had also been arranged.
It was also decided KESC MTL vehicles will be posted at all major shopping centres to restore electricity in case of power failure.
