Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza of Mian Muhammad Sharif was held on Tuesday in District Court which was largely attended by the lawyers of opposition parties, elite of the area, and activists of PPP and PNL-N, PDP, Tehrik-e-Insaf and MMA.
However, heavy police contingent did not let the participants to take out a procession. Muslim Lawyers Forum (MLF) President Advocate Riaz Latifi said: "The present regime had set new precedence of enmity and victimisation by not allowing sons to attend the funeral rites of their father.
