Foreign companies working in Pakistan are fully satisfied with the security arrangements made by the government for their expatriate staff, Minister of State for Interior Dr Shehzad Waseem told Business Recorder here on Wednesday.
Dr Shehzad said: "In fact, his ministry is receiving applications from traders and industrialists of different countries, including China to visit Pakistan for trade and investment purposes."
He, however, said the government has taken further measures to improve law and order situation, including separation of investigation, security of VIP, intelligence wings of police force, installation of cameras at sensitive points, and introduction of vehicle identification numbers by Nadra and community policing to have better inter-action between the police and the citizens.
The minister said a special capacity building programme is being launched to sensitise the police force about the human rights, investigation of crimes by modern techniques and methods, general behaviour of the police with the people in a civilised manner.
