Pakistani company awarded $3.5 million tender in Iraq

A Pakistani company, IMGC Global (Private) Ltd, has been awarded 3.5 million dollars international tender for supply and distribution of school bags and stationery to 525,000 schools in Iraq.
The tender, participated by 15 bidders from the United States, England, Jordan, Kuwait and Iraq, was awarded to IMGC Global Pakistan, a sister concern of International Multi Group, on competitive prices. It was also awarded contract for teacher kits in Iraq last year.
IMGC is participating in relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction programme in the region since 1986 and executed contracts worth millions of dollars in last three years in Iraq and Afghanistan.
IMGC Global, headed by Sheikh Amjad Rashid, is exploring a joint venture with public sector in Pakistan under public-private partnership to undertake major projects in the region.
