A prominent industrialist Mian Zahid Hussain has called for frequent exchanges of delegations between Pakistan and India in trade, culture tourism and sports. In a statement here on Thursday he hailed the visit of the chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain to India to attend an international conference beginning in New Delhi from Saturday.
Mian Zahid, who is also the vice-president of the Defence Residents Society, hoped that Altaf Hussain would fully reflect the sentiments of the Pakistani people.
He was optimistic that the MQM chief would effectively defend the point of view of Pakistan on Indian occupied Kashmir and other sensitive issues.
Mian Zahid also hoped that Altaf Hussain's visit would prove to be a milestone in the relations between Pakistan and India.
