Lahore High Court (LHC) confirmed the bail of Nankana Bar Association President Rana Ali Asghar and other office-bearers of the association. The district government had issued their detention orders under section 03 of Maintenance of Public Order (MPO).
The applicants contended their detention orders were issued illegally and with malafide intention. They prayed to the court to declare the orders in question as illegal, unconstitutional and issued without lawful authority.
