Punjab University vice chancellor Lieutenant General Arshad Mahmood (Retd) on Friday chaired a meeting to review hostel facilities at new campus. Addressing the meeting Arshad said the university would construct two hostels for boys and girls to meet increasing residential needs of students.
He asked the administration to admit students keeping in view the hostel capacity available in the university.
He said Ph.D. students would be allowed to stay in hostel for one year instead of four years due to increasing accommodation pressure on the university.
