Prime Minister condoles Latif Ibrahim's death

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Sunday expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the death of prominent business figure and a well-known philanthropist Latif Ibrahim Jamal, who breathed his last on Friday in Karachi. In a message to his son Aziz Jamal, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said late Latif Jamal not only served the masses but was also an exceptional businessman.
He described him as a towering personality, who owing to his untiring, selfless efforts and devotion helped propel forward the country's economy.
The premier said: "Service to the humanity is the hallmark of Islam and late Latif Jamal rendered great social service for the people and devoted his entire life to reach out to the needy and helped them meet their needs."
Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz also acknowledged the great entrepreneur skills of Latif Ibrahim Jamal and said his services for the business community in the country be remembered for a long time.
He said he was an eminent businessman, who served the business community and his nation.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to shower his blessings on the departed soul and for courage and fortitude to his family to bear this loss with magnanimity.
