Housing problems to be settled soon: minister

State minister for Interior Dr Shahzad Waseem has said that residential problems in Islamabad would be solved on priority basis. He expressed these views in a meeting with a delegation of land affectees of F-12 and G-12 sectors comprising Islamabad Affectees Welfare Society members, Malik Akhtar, Abdul Hakeem, Rasheed Khan, Sufi Lateef, and Malik Adnan.
Federal Capital Muslim League President Dr Mohammad Amjad, the member, Planning and Director Land, Capital Development Authority (CDA) were also present on the occasion.
The minister directed the CDA authorities to conduct a survey and inform him about the latest position of land ownership in F-12 and G-12 sectors.
He also directed the CDA to come up with solid recommendations to address this particular issue.
Dr Mohammad Amjad, on the occasion, stressed the need for evolving strategy with mutual consensus for payment of acquired land to the affectees, and hoped that Dr Shahzad Waseem would succeed in redressing complaints of affected people.
