The Bangladeshi taka ended steadier on Monday, after banks received remittances from expatriated Bangladeshis ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr feast next week, dealers said. The taka was quoted at 59.50/59.85 against 59.50/59.92 per US dollar on Saturday. The market was closed on Sunday due to a public holiday. Call rates ranged between 4 percent and 7 percent against 3.50 to 7.0 percent on Saturday.
