German coffee imports down in August

Germany's August net green coffee imports fell to 1,332,057 60-kg bags from 1,558,674 in August 2003 and 1,353,298 in July 2004, industry association DKV said. Brazil maintained its long-standing position as Germany's largest supplier, followed by Vietnam, Colombia and Indonesia.
January to August coffee imports rose to 10,039,825 bags from 9,681,994 in the same 2003 period.
