Sugar prices up on grain market

Sugar prices were higher on the opening session of the grain market due to tight supplies and surging demand in the month of Ramazan, dealers said. On the cereals side, sugar prices low type shed Rs 50 at Rs 2100 and better type lost Rs 70 to Rs 2150 in the process of trading.
On the seed side, cotton seed oilcake with bag was lower by Rs 10 to rs 405 and Rs 410. Other items maintained their overnight levels.
