Pak-American students Fall 2004 moot in Washington from November 20

A two-day conference for students and young professionals will be held at the Pakistan Embassy here on November 20 and 21 It will be held under aegis of the National Pakistani-Students Association and the Rising Leaders.
At the 'Fail 2004 conference' the speakers will be Ambassador-designate Jehangir Karamat; deputy chief of mission Mohammad Sadiq; former Finance Minister Shahid Javed Burki; Advisor to the government of Pakistan on Finance Shahid Husain; Dr Akhar S. Ahmad of Ibn-e-Khuldun Chair in American University; acclaimed author of "The Crow Eaters" Bapsi Sidwha; Attorney-at-Law, political analyst and Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Punjab Mowahid Hussain;. Deputy Administrator of the USAID Mark Ward; elected Councilman Naseem Ansari; Director of Pal-Pac Dr Raza Bokhari; President of the Association of Pakistani Scientists and Engineers of North America Tariq Khan; Secretary-General of the Pakistani-American Congress Faizan Haq; Executive Director of Pakistani-American Liaison Centre Faiz Rehman; Directors of Pal-C Pervaiz Lodhie, Dr Rafiq Rahman and Mossadaq Chughtai; and Chief Executive Officer of Pak Watan and Chairman of the Pakistani American Association of North America Shaukat Sindhu.
The motto of the National PSA is "Community, Collaboration, commitment," and it came into being on April 9, 2004, at a gathering of Pakistani and Pakistani-American students from around the United States.
The National Pakistan Students Association (NPSA) aims to "align the goals and interests of its respective constituents to promote the interaction, networking and visibility of its members."
The NPSA will work with the PSAs across the nation to ensure that they have a strong and active presence on their college campuses.
