Chinese minister calls on Prime Minister

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has underlined the need for exchange of media delegations and television programmes to further strengthen the "already good relations" between Pakistan and China at people to people level. He was talking to visiting Chinese Vice Minister for Information Wang Guoqing, who called on him Saturday in Islamabad.
Prime Minister said Pakistan and China have similarity of views on regional and international issues. Both have co-operated with each other on important international issues. Guoqing said China and Pakistan are "old friends and the friendship is time tested."
He appreciated Pakistan's economic policies and said Pakistan has made commendable progress in social and economic sectors.
