Chishti re-elected ex-servicemen body chief

The architect of 1977 coup d'etat and colleague of Ziaul Haq, Lieutenant General Faiz Ali Chishti, was unanimously elected President of Pakistan Ex-servicemen Society for the fourth time on Sunday. Later addressing the-100 member national council, Chishti said that over 2.2 million ex servicemen of all ranks always remain at the beck and call of the nation to defend its geographical and ideological frontiers.
He said he always believed that it was futile to talk with Indian government on the Kashmir because its mindset would never concede anything to Pakistan on negotiating table. He said that Kashmir could only be liberated by Jehad.
Talking to Business Recorder Chishti said that Pakistan Ex-servicemen Society is devoted to look after the welfare of brave and valiant ex-servicemen who gave best years of their lives to the defence of the country.
