Prominent artist, social worker and peace activist Jimmy Engineer arrived here on Sunday from Karachi on a weeklong goodwill tour of Lahore. During this stay here, he will take part in the South Asian artists' paintings exhibition titled 'Old Masters Young Voices'. The exhibition, which has been organised by Chief Minister's Task Force on Lahore, will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi on November 23 at Alhamra Art Gallery.
On special invitation from Chief Minister's Task Force head Ghaus Akbar, Jimmy has brought his famous 'Pakistan Movement' painting in original for display in the exhibition. Meanwhile, during his visit to Alhamra Art Gallery, which has been renovated and improved for the big event, Jimmy met artists from Nepal and Sri Lanka who are here to display their art works in the exhibition.
