Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 112,527 tonnes of cargo including 107,627 tonnes import and 4,900 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Tuesday. The cargo comprised of 66,477 tonnes dry and 46,050 tonnes liquid cargo. Five ships namely Oranje, Stolt Avocet, Scan Brasil, Indurwa Valley and Sea Lady sailed out to sea during the report period.
Six vessels viz Corinthiakos, Jade Trader, Kota Teguh, Ever Gather, MT Swat and Atlantic Swan are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Jade Trader, Ever Gather, MT Swat and Sargodha expected to sail on Tuesday, while five ships namely Kota Teguh, Phoenix Leader, Traman Bibi, Atlantic Swan and Kota Wijaya are expected to sail on Wednesday.
Six ships namely YM Star, Kota Merdesa, Cape Ferro, Iran Shahryar, Phoenix Leader and Clipper Stamford due to arrive on Tuesday, while three vessels viz Kota Wijaya, Apl Cairo and Hyundai Future are due to arrive on Wednesday.

The cargo comprised of 532 tonnes chemicals; 3,600 tonnes edible oil; 20,505 tonnes HSD oil; 6,960 tonnes wheat; 12,397 tonnes iron ore and 22,542 tonnes containerised cargo.
Two vessels viz Anette Kosan and Yanaseni sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while two more ships namely Maersk Arizona and Promise are expected to sail on Tuesday afternoon.
A total of four vessels viz Xinhoa Men, Nikoso, Entalina and Oranje are currently at the outer anchorage.
Two ships namely Entalina and Oranje due to take berths on Tuesday.
