Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 77,907 tonnes of cargo including 63,900 tonnes import and 14,007 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Wednesday. The cargo comprised of 47,956 tonnes dry and 29,951 tonnes liquid cargo. Seven ships namely Jade Trader, Ever Gather, MT Swat, Phoenix Leader, Atlantic Swan, San Hope and Sargodha sailed out to sea during the report period.
Six vessels viz Cape Ferro, Lai King, Iran Shahryar, Phoenix Leader, Olivette and Clipper Stamford are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Shan Hai, Traman Bibi, Clipper Stamford and Apl Cairo expected to sail on Wednesday, while two ships namely Iran Shahryar and Kota Wijaya are expected to sail on Thursday.
Two ships namely Apl Cairo and Hyundai Future due to arrive on Wednesday, while six vessels viz Kota Tabah, Sunniva, Thor Captain, Pacific Express, Iran Sokan, El Tango and Hyundai Future are due to arrive on Thursday.

The cargo comprised of 2,860 tonnes edible oil; 29.911 tonnes HSD oil; 12,182 tonnes wheat; 16,669 tonnes iron ore and 11,457 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three vessels viz Maersk Arizona, Warbah and Promise sailed out to sea during last 24 hours.
A total of six vessels viz Xinhoa Men, Nikoso, Entalina, Kritirock, E. Trader and Rio Gracia are currently at the outer anchorage.
Four ships namely Kingston, Kritirock, Entalina and Rio Gracia due to take berths on Wednesday.
