Noted critic speaks on Italian art

The Italian Cultural Centre Dante Allghieri - Karachi, continuing its permanent collaboration with AlCA Pakistan, a national section of AICA (International Association of Art Critics), has sponsored the participation of one of the best known Italian art critics Professor Ludovico Pratesi to the international AICA seminar 'Mapping the change" that took place on 25th and 26th November at the Agha Khan University Auditorium.
ART EXHIBITION: The Italian Cultural Centre Dante Allghieri, under the auspices of the consulate general of Italy, also organised a lecture of Pratesi on the internationally renowned Italian artists 1970-2000 followed by the official opening of an exhibition of water colours by Ghalib Baqar on Saturday (November 27), at 6.00 pm in the premises of the Italian Cultural Centre Dante Allghieri.
This exhibition will provide a much-needed opportunity to art admirers and critics of Karachi to view and appreciate Italian modern art.
Professor Ludovico Pratesi presented a comprehensive and wide survey on the best contemporary Italian art from various points of view and threw light on the latest developments taking place in this field.-PR
