Punjab Chief Minister, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi will pay surprise visits to the educational institutions so that education standard could be improved in the province. Punjab Minister for Co-operative, Colonel Malik Muhammad Anwar (Retd) said this while addressing prize distribution ceremony at a local school here on Thursday. The authorities in Education department had been directed to implement the education sector reform programme so that public interest could be revived in the public sector schools, he added.
Giving priority to the education sector, the government had allocated huge amount of Rs43 billion for the promotion of education in the country, he maintained.
