Privatisation Commission has invited expressions of interest (EoIs) by December 10 this year for the sale of machinery of Bolan Textile Mills, a project of Iran Pakistan Industries (Pvt) Limited. The machinery of Bolan Textile Mills (spinning, weaving, processing and auxiliaries) is offered on an "as and where is" basis through a competitive process.
The machinery is a part of fully integrated unit of 50,000 spindles, 1,100 looms with complete dyeing and finishing facilities of around 80,000 meters per day production capacity.
The list of machinery for sale would be available free of cost from the offices of privatisation commission, Islamabad and Iran Pakistan Industries (Pvt) Limited PIDC, Karachi from December 10. While the bidding documents of machinery lots would be made available with effect from December 13, only to the parties submitting EoIs with the required non-refundable processing fee.
Interested parties can inspect the machinery on any working day during office hours on prior appointment with the privatisation commission, Islamabad or the Iran Pakistan Industries (Pvt) Ltd.
A pre-bid conference will be held in the third week of December to facilitate a better understanding of the bidding process and respond to the queries of the prospective bidders regarding the sale of the machinery.
