Pakistan Peoples Party Sindh has announced long march from Hyderabad to Karachi via Thatta on December 7 to highlight the present political crisis in the country. The announcement to this effect was made by Sindh president of PPP Syed Qaim Ali Shah while talking with newsmen at residence of PPP Sindh Vice President Kazi Asad Abid here on Sunday.
He said the rally would reach Mazar of Quaid-e-Azam where they would make complaint to Quaid-e-Azam against present rulers. He said leader of party from Sindh, Punjab and center will participate in rally which will be led by Makhdoom Amin Fahim the acting chairman of PPP parliamentarians.
He said they do not need the permission of rally from Sindh government and if otherwise they were not afraid of jails. Qaim Ali Shah said their rally would be peaceful. He asked Sindh Chief Minister Arbab Rahim first to face the dacoits in Sindh who had destroyed the peace of province. He said the release on bail of Asif Zardari was not result of any deal but was because cases against him were false.
PPP Sindh chief said few days back PPP Sindh Council had passed resolution saluting the struggle of Asif Zardari for democracy and expressed confidence in leadership of Benazir Bhutto.
He said if Benazir gives any responsibility to Asif Zardari they would accept it but said that he could not become the chairman of PPP.
