NWFP Additional Chief Secretary Mir Laiq Shah has said that the completion of Barani Project Phase II will bring social and economic revolution in the life of people of project area, therefore these people should strengthen the hands of implementing agencies of the project and ensure judicious use of every penny of these funds. This he said while addressing the foundation laying ceremony of two water supply schemes at Sumari Kohat and site inspection visit of Sumari Payan to Sumari Bala road mateling project, proposed with the estimated cost of Rs 19 million under Barani project on Saturday.
Present on the occasion were project director Kazim Niaz, EDO Finance Kohat Wahid Rehman, District PD Barani Project Kohat Mohsinul Mulk, DD W&S Kohat Jehangir Khan and other officials.
Mir Laiq Shah said that people should consider the government money as their own and should ensure proper quality on the projects so that they could get the desired facilities from these projects.
