Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 39,073 tonnes of cargo including 29,903 tonnes import and 9,170 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Monday. The cargo comprised of 37,773 tonnes dry and 1,300 tonnes liquid cargo. Five ships namely Thor Captain, Pacific Express, El Tango, Sunniva and Krishna sailed out to sea during the report period. Five vessels viz Bunga Delima, Kota Tabah, Thor Falcon, Anais Land and Miltiadis Junior-II are currently at the berths.
Two ships namely Marina-GR and Kota Tabah expected to sail on Monday, while four ships namely Komoliatis, Rio Rubio, Arihant and Dong He are expected to sail on Tuesday.
Three ships namely Express, Wilmington and Regents Park due to arrive on Monday, while five vessels viz Sinar Bontang, Apl Orchid, Asian Trader, Oranje and Iros Autter Fly are due to arrive on Tuesday.

The cargo comprised of 1,000 tonnes chemicals; 7,320 tonnes edible oil; 2,075 tonnes LPG; 10,268 tonnes wheat; 3,667 tonnes iron ore and 26,333 tonnes containerised cargo.
Four vessels viz MV Global-F, E. Trader, Nur Yanbu and P&O Nedlloyd Colombo sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while two more ships namely MT Ennerdale and Sintoku are expected to sail on Monday afternoon.
A total of four vessels viz Mearsk Arizona, Saudi Diriya, Sinar Sabang and Great Ambition are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely Maersk Pak, Saudi Diriya and Sinar Sabang due to take berths on Monday.
