Polish envoy calls on Punjab chief minister

Peoples Republic of Poland Ambassador to Pakistan Bogdan Marczewski called on Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi here on Monday and discussed matters of mutual interest and prospects of trade cooperation.
According to an official, the Chief Minister said coordination would further be improved between chambers of commerce and industries of Pakistan and Poland. He stressed the need for exchange of information about historical and cultural heritage. He maintained a mechanism would be developed for cooperation between Poland and Punjab province.
Polish Ambassador Bogdan Marczewski observed there were bright prospects for increased economic cooperation between Pakistan and Poland. He said both the countries were playing a pivotal role in promoting peace at global level.
